Terms of Service

These terms govern your subscription to Plynth, provided by Plynth Worlds LLC ("Plynth", "we"), a Wyoming limited liability company. By subscribing you agree to them.

1. The subscription

Plynth is sold as a monthly subscription at $15.00 USD per month, plus any tax shown at checkout. It grants one person a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Plynth application while the subscription is active. It is not a sale of the software.

2. Billing and renewal

Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. Payment is collected by Polar Software Inc., which acts as the merchant of record for the sale and is responsible for billing, tax collection and remittance. Your receipt comes from Polar.

3. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time, including from a button inside the application itself. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. We refund any payment on request within 30 days, without requiring a reason, and will consider later requests too. See Refunds & cancellation for the full policy, which forms part of these terms.

4. Devices and activation

A subscription may be activated on up to three devices at once. You may release a device at any time. Sharing your activation code outside your household is not permitted.

5. Your content

Anything you create, import or upload into Plynth — campaigns, notes, art, audio, maps — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it. Campaign files are stored as ordinary files on your own computer, and remain readable by you whether or not your subscription is active.

6. Our content

The application, and the adventures, music, artwork and other material we supply with it, remain the property of Plynth Worlds LLC or its licensors. Your licence to use them lasts as long as your subscription does. Third-party game rules included for reference remain the property of their publishers and are used under their respective open licences, with attribution shown in the application.

7. Acceptable use

Do not redistribute the application or the content we supply, attempt to defeat the licensing system, resell access, or use Plynth to infringe anyone else's rights.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Plynth working and improving, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Plynth is designed to run locally and to keep working offline for up to 30 days between licence checks.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will give notice before it applies to your next renewal. The price of an active subscription will not change without notice and an opportunity to cancel.

10. Warranty and liability

Plynth is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your subscription is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Termination

We may suspend or end a subscription that breaches these terms. If we end your subscription without cause, we will refund the unused portion of the period you paid for.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
